Friendswood Driving School has been approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety as The Third Party Skills Testing (TPST) certified location. We Through this program we are able to adminster via a State Certified Examiner the driving skills examination neccessary to obtain a Class C driver lisence. Successful completion of this test will enable the applicant to receive a Texas Provisional Driver License. We offer this service at our Friendswood location and are usually able to offer testing within 1 week.


Pricing
   - Friendswood Driving School Students: $50
   - In-class Driving Schools: $60
   - Parent Taught/Online Courses: $70
   - Adult (18+) Course: $70
  
   - Use of FDS Vehicle: $20
   - Retakes: $30




SKILLS TESTING DOCUMENTATION CHECKLIST

Individuals 16 years of age or older:
  • Original social security card or birth certificate and vaild passport
  • Valid DE-964 showing completion of a Minors Driver Education Course
  • Held valid learner license for a minimum of six months
  • Completed 30 hour behind the wheel driving parent log CLICK HERE FOR FORM
  • View the ITTD video and receive a certificate dated within 90 days of the skills examination.
  • Verification of Attendance and Enrollment Form (not dated more than 30 days prior to going to DPS.) or High School Diploma
  • Proof of insurance on the vehicle being used for testing

    • 32-hour Classroom Log
    • 14-hour Behind-the Wheel Log
    • Notarized Behind-the-Wheel Affidavit  (we offer notary services at our Friendswood location)
    • Notarized Classroom Affidavit  (we offer notary services at our Friendswood location)

I ndividuals 18-24 years of age:
  • Original social security card or birth certificate and vaild passport
  • Possess a valid DE-964 or ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
  • Have a valid restricted driver license
  • View the ITYD video and receive a certificate dated within 90 days of the skills examination.
  • Proof of insurance on the vehicle being used for testing

Individuals 25 years of age or older:
  • Original social security card or birth certificate and vaild passport
  • Have a valid restricted driver license
  • View the ITYD video and receive a certificate dated within 90 days of the skills examination
  • Proof of insurance on the vehicle being used for testing
